JD Salinger.

I can connect with Salinger in how he writes about what he has been through. He based his book off of his life. I dont necessarily write books about my life and what i have been through, but i sometimes write in my journal. My friends can kind of be my book because i tell them what ive been through and they help me out. I am predicting that Holden or someone might kill an individual in the story because of Mark David Chapman killing John Lennon and saying it was done to promote Catcher in the Rye. Reading this article makes me understand Salinger a bit mor. And it makes me understand where he was coming from when he wrote it.

Connecting to Holden

My connection to Holden is about death. I just recently lost my grandpa. I know what he is going through. Death is a very difficult thing to deal with. Holden lost his brother and has his brothers mitt. I have a teddy bear my grandpa gave me while he was going through his triple by pass surgery. We also dried flowers from his funeral and had them made into key chains and necklaces. Everytime I look at one of these items I think of him. Its comforting to see those things. Its very sad that Holden had to deal with this. I can connect with Holden because I know how he feels and what he has been through.

JD Salinger

I definitely think that people would read a JD Salinger book if another one was published. I would read one of his books if it was published. I'm sure many people are expecting more than one book to be published in the next few years. The books would most likely be very interesting and many people would want to read them. I'm excited to see what comes out in the next few years.
